Have you been wanting to try yoga, but aren’t sure where to begin? Are you afraid you are not “flexible enough” to do yoga? Are you new to the practice and feeling lost in an all-levels class? Are you looking for a better understanding of alignment in common yoga poses? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions - THIS SERIES IS FOR YOU!
In this series, we will break down asana's (aka yoga poses) and pranayama (aka yogic breathing) to form a strong foundation for your practice. You will have the opportunity to ask questions as we explore common poses and sequences that are typical in vinyasa flow classes. This series will scaffold from week to week to establish the basic building blocks for a long and healthy yoga practice and is open to anybody who is willing to give it a try - all levels are welcome!
