This 2 hour workshop style class is geared toward advancing your asana practice. This monthly offering will provide an opportunity to hone your skill in understanding more advanced poses by breaking them down into their digestible pieces and parts. We'll focus on a family of poses or a specific peak pose. These classes will be challenging and detail-oriented, yet filled with fun and inspiring ways to deepen your practice from the inside out. Bring your sense of playfulness and an inquiring mind and you may just surprise yourself!
We'll spend time opening the upper body, specifically, the thoracic spine and shoulders to find more freedom and space in common back bends, like Setu Bandha Sarvangasana (Bridge Pose) and Urdhva Dhanurasana (Full Wheel).
