This 2 hour workshop style class is geared toward advancing your asana practice. This monthly offering will provide an opportunity to hone your skill in understanding more advanced poses by breaking them down into their digestible pieces and parts. We'll focus on a family of poses or a specific peak pose. These classes will be challenging and detail-oriented, yet filled with fun and inspiring ways to deepen your practice from the inside out. Bring your sense of playfulness and an inquiring mind and you may just surprise yourself!
YogaLab: A 2 Hour Workshop focusing on advancing your practice.
A small, intimate monthly Restorative Yoga class at Studio 72
The monthly YogaLab Series continues with a focus on back bends.
Yogic philosophy teaches us that we hold within our bodies subtle layers and channels of energy. This intricate network of koshas, nadis and chakras allows students to aim their attention in a particular way during their yoga practice. Moving one's experience from the tangible to more ethereal, requires a certain amount of stillness to provide a container for this exploration to unfold.
This half day workshop will combine both lecture on the components of the subtle body followed by a Restorative Yoga practice in order to fully embody your new found knowledge.
4 CEUs for Yoga Teachers through Yoga Alliance
This workshop is $50. You can join us for the physical practice only at 4:30pm for $30.
